Privacy policy

This policy describes TeslaSleuth, published by Agentic Adventures LLC.

Our short version

TeslaSleuth has no publisher-operated account system, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting SDK, or cloud backend. Agentic Adventures LLC does not collect or share personal data through the app. Vehicle telemetry and logs remain on your device unless you explicitly share them.

Data processed on your device

The app processes compatible vehicle-bus frames, decoded telemetry, adapter names and identifiers, connection events, settings, and optional CSV logs. This processing is necessary to show live instruments, reconnect to a selected adapter, and create user-requested logs. These data are stored locally.

Permissions and local connections

• Nearby devices / Bluetooth: requested contextually to find and connect to a paired OBDLink LX.
• Notifications: requested so Android can show a connected-device foreground-service notification while Live continuity is enabled (stay connected if you briefly leave the app, or while logging a trip).
• Local Commander network: when you choose the supported Enhance Auto Commander connection, the app exchanges telemetry only with Commander over the local Wi‑Fi network you approve. That traffic is not an internet upload, and TeslaSleuth leaves the phone's normal internet route unchanged.

Logs, diagnostics, and sharing

Logging is opt-in (or Advanced auto-start when you enable it). You select the local destination and retention behavior. When you tap Capture 30 seconds & email support, TeslaSleuth records a fresh support sample and prepares a pre-addressed email with app/device versions, redacted adapter details, connection events, selected sanitized excerpts, and bounded raw CAN and decoded-signal CSV files. If logging was already active, the support action leaves it active. Attachments stay under 25 MB. Raw vehicle logs are not redacted and may contain detailed vehicle activity. Nothing is sent until you tap Send in your email app. The destination app’s own privacy policy then applies.

Backups

TeslaSleuth explicitly excludes adapter settings, custom layouts, and telemetry logs from Android cloud backup and device transfer.

Children and sale of data

The app is not directed to children. Agentic Adventures LLC does not sell or share personal data.
